(News from 조선우표사 / Korea Stamp Corporation) On 30 September 2020 the Korea Stamp Corporation issued a series of stamps made out of wood. 

According to the KSC “the State Stamp Bureau of the DPRK has issued 4 wooden stamps reflecting the national symbols of the DPRK.” 

The wood from which the stamps have been made is “black walnut distributed in northern part of the Korean peninsula” and they show national symbols of the DPRK: 

the national flower, national bird, national tree and national dog of the DPRK.

500 won stamp: 
Magnolia, national flower of the DPRK
500 won stamp: 
Goshawk, national bird of the DPRK(not issued)
500 won stamp: 
Pine tree, national tree of the DPRK
500 won stamp: 
Phungsan dog, national dog of the DPRK
