The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is organised annually between June and August/September through two routes: Lipulekh Pass (Uttarakhand) and Nathu La Pass (Sikkim). One of the most revered pilgrimages in Hinduism, it holds immense spiritual and cultural significance. Mount Kailash is believed to be the sacred abode of Lord Shiva, where he resides with Maa Parvati and the Shiva-ganas, as described in Hindu scriptures. The region is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and serene, mystical atmosphere. To commemorate this sacred pilgrimage, a set of five picture postcards was carried to Kailash Mansarovar via the Lipulekh Pass (Uttarakhand) route during the yatra.
