Description
This Belgian postage stamp, released on 10 June 2024, commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union (UPU). This issue set a Official Guinness World Record for the most words on a postage stamp, containing exactly 2,024 words. The vast number of words is printed in microtext and includes the entire articles of association of the UPU, which establish the rules for international postal exchanges. Typical of a stamp from Belgium, the country name is displayed in both Dutch (BELGIE) and French (BELGIQUE)

The corresponding Mini Sheet of this stamp has a world map in a vintage, aged style occupies the center. The map contains microtext forming the shapes of the continents. The "150" superimposed on the map in the mini sheet commemorates the organization's founding on October 9, 1874, in Bern, Switzerland.
