The specific 4,398-day milestone marks his continuous service strictly as a *democratically elected leader*.

The Start Date: 13 May 1952, when he took his oath of office following the conclusion of India's first-ever general elections.

The End Date: 27 May 1964, the day he passed away while still serving in office.
