This is a famous Italian embroidered postage stamp issued in 2004 to celebrate "L'Arte del Merletto" (The Art of Lacemaking)

Design: It depicts a stylized floral lace pattern stitched with white thread onto a solid blue fabric background. 
Denomination: It has a face value of €2.80.

  • ITALIA €2,80: The issuing country and its postal value.
  • IPZS 2004: Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (the Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute responsible for printing national security items) alongside its release year.
